Ken Tran
Ken Tran
Ken Tran brings over 20 years of Muay Thai and Kickboxing experience, with an accomplished career competing around the world. A veteran of GLORY Kickboxing and Lion Fight Promotions, Ken owns a knockout victory at the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok and proudly represented Canada as team captain in Team Canada vs. Team China competitions. With decades of experience at the highest levels of the sport, Ken is passionate about helping students of all skill levels build confidence, sharpen their technique, and achieve their goals.
Outside the gym, Ken is a devoted father to two boys who enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and, most of all, eating.
Nabil Salameh
Nabil Salameh
Nabil is a 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under Eddie Bravo with over 20 years of martial arts experience. Since beginning his 10th Planet journey in 2007, he has competed across North America, earning medals at prestigious tournaments while continually refining his craft. His depth of knowledge and passion for the art make him an invaluable mentor on the mats.
As a coach, Nabil is committed to helping every student reach their potential, from beginners taking their first class to experienced athletes preparing for competition. He takes great pride in developing homegrown talent and fostering a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone can grow.
Omeed Gha
Omeed Gha
Omeed brings over 24 years of martial arts experience, with a competitive background that includes tournaments such as West Coast Can-Am, Tiger Bomb, and Fireball. Alongside his martial arts journey, he has spent more than 20 years as a BCRPA-certified personal trainer, combining technical expertise with a passion for helping others achieve their goals. He is especially passionate about working with children, drawing on both his martial arts experience and his Child and Youth Care Counselling certification from Douglas College.
Outside the gym, Omeed enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, riding his motorcycle, and swimming in the lake whenever he gets the chance.
Carol Berg
Carol Berg
Carol brings seven years of Muay Thai and Dutch Style Kickboxing experience, sharpened through local competition. She is passionate about empowering women through martial arts and proudly leads Titan Training Centre’s Women’s Muay Thai program, creating a welcoming environment where students can build confidence, strength, and technical skill. Carol also plays a key role in Titan’s Tiny Titans and Juniors programs, where her background in Teaching Assistance and Community Support helps young students develop strong fundamentals while fostering confidence and a love for martial arts.
Outside the gym, Carol enjoys spending time with her family, running, and exploring the outdoors through hiking.
Jordan Stutt
Jordan Stutt
Jordan is a Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt who has trained under Sensei Nabil for over eight years. An active competitor, he has tested his skills on some of the sport’s biggest stages, including the ADCC Trials and EBI Qualifiers. Jordan leads Titan’s morning Jiu-Jitsu program, where he focuses on building strong fundamentals and making high-level techniques accessible to students of all experience levels.
Coach Jordan also helps lead Titan’s Kids Jiu-Jitsu program, creating a positive environment where young students develop confidence, discipline, and a love for learning through engaging warmups, grappling games, and technical instruction.
Enrique Arce Jr
Enrique Arce Jr
Enrique has trained in kickboxing under Ken Tran for over seven years and has spent the last two years competing in tournaments such as WCMAC and Can-Am. He began his coaching journey at just 15 years old and is passionate about helping both kids and adults build confidence, improve their skills, and achieve their goals through martial arts.
A lifelong fan of combat sports and fitness, Enrique is committed to helping others grow both inside and outside the gym. When he’s not coaching or training, he enjoys horseback riding, playing guitar, archery, and exploring his passion for culinary arts.
Josh Kwiatkowsi
Josh Kwiatkowsi
Josh “Juggernaut” Kwiatkowski brings 17 years of martial arts experience and a wealth of competition experience across professional and amateur combat sports. With 17 professional MMA bouts (and counting), he is a former RITC Professional Featherweight Champion, a BFL Amateur Featherweight Champion, and has also competed in amateur MMA, boxing, and kickboxing. His experience inside the cage and ring reflects years of dedication to the sport.
For Josh, martial arts is what keeps him grounded, focused, and sane. Outside the gym, he is a Red Seal HVAC tradesman with Level 1 certification in Metal Fabrication. When he’s not coaching or training, you’ll most likely find him enjoying his favorite hobby: a well-earned nap.
Brendan Merks
Brendan Merks
Brendan has been training in martial arts for five years and has built an impressive competition resume across both striking and grappling. He is a gold and bronze medalist in No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu, has competed at ADCC Vancouver, won gold at the BC Muay Thai Provincials, and earned silver in a competitive kickboxing tournament.
For Brendan, martial arts is more than competition. It is an honest form of self-expression, a disciplined outlet for personal growth, and an opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life. Outside of training, he enjoys mountain biking, jazz piano improvisation, and spending quality time with his loved ones and his dog, Ziggy.

Tracy brings over 18 years of martial arts experience, along with seven years of strength and conditioning training focused on combat sports. She believes martial arts is about more than developing physical skills—it’s about building community, embracing lifelong learning, and enjoying the challenge of every training session. For Tracy, there’s nothing better than leaving the gym covered in sweat after a great workout.
Outside the dojo, Tracy enjoys staying active through all things fitness and spending time with the people and pets she loves most. Whether she’s training, keeping up with her kids, or hanging out with her dogs, she brings the same energy and enthusiasm to every part of her life.

Amrit Mandair
Amrit Mandair
Amrit has been training at Titan Training Centre for over three years and has already gained valuable competition experience, competing in three kickboxing tournaments along with one amateur kickboxing bout and one amateur Muay Thai bout. He looks forward to continuing his competitive journey and developing his skills through every opportunity to step into the ring.
For Amrit, martial arts provides structure, discipline, and a strong sense of community. Outside the gym, he is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games and spending quality time with his friends and family.
Trevor Coon
Trevor Coon
Trevor is a Brown Belt in Jiu-Jitsu who has been training at Titan Training Centre since 2017. Over the years, he has competed consistently from white belt through brown belt, gaining valuable experience on the competition mats. For Trevor, martial arts has provided more than technical skills—it has introduced him to some of his closest friends while offering both a physical challenge and a creative outlet.
Outside the gym, Trevor is a Red Seal Sheet Metal Worker with over 10 years of experience and proudly considers himself a semi-professional pet sitter. When he’s not training, he enjoys Olympic weightlifting, fishing, golfing, spending time with friends and family, and hanging out with his cat.
Cole Hamel
Cole Hamel
Cole has been involved in martial arts since he was 15 years old, building an impressive background in both striking and grappling. He competed in 16 amateur fights and represented British Columbia on the provincial team before a shoulder injury brought his competitive career to a close. He also holds a Blue Belt in Jiu-Jitsu and has competed in multiple tournaments. For Cole, martial arts has always been a positive force—keeping him disciplined, focused, and on the right path.
Outside the gym, Cole is a Foreman for a mechanical company and works as a plumber by trade. When he’s not coaching or training, you’ll usually find him outdoors, whether it’s snowboarding in the winter or enjoying everything the outdoors has to offer.

June
June began his martial arts journey in Taekwondo, earning his black belt after four years of dedicated training. He later transitioned into Muay Thai and boxing, where he has trained for over a year and a half. Always looking to challenge himself, June recently competed at the BC Muay Thai Provincial Championships, continuing to develop his skills through competition.
For June, martial arts is about much more than learning to fight. He believes it’s one of the best ways to build fitness, discipline, and confidence while becoming the best version of yourself.
Outside the gym, June studied General Applied Sciences and Computer Science at Simon Fraser University. When he’s not training, he enjoys gaming, traveling, and discovering new experiences.
Mackenzie
Mackenzie
Mackenzie has been training in Muay Thai for three years and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for a year and a half. She has already tested her skills in competition, earning a silver medal at the AvA Jiu-Jitsu Tournament. For Mackenzie, martial arts is about constantly challenging herself, setting new goals, and growing through the process both on and off the mats.
Outside the gym, Mackenzie is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at Simon Fraser University, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Kinesiology. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, staying active in the gym, and expressing her creativity through painting and drawing.

Mara
Mara has been training at Titan Training Centre for over six years and has built an impressive 5-0 kickboxing tournament record. She continues to challenge herself as a martial artist and aspires to step onto the competition mats in Jiu-Jitsu in the future. For Mara, martial arts has been instrumental in building confidence, resilience, and both physical and mental strength. The gym is a place where she can reset, connect with her community, and continue growing every day.
Outside the gym, Mara is an undergraduate Neuroscience student. When she’s not training or studying, she enjoys skiing, creating art, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Danijel B
Danijel is a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu who has been training at Titan Training Centre for over six years. Throughout his journey, he has competed in and medaled at multiple tournaments, continuously challenging himself on the mats. For Danijel, martial arts is more than a hobby—it’s a way of life that keeps him grounded both physically and mentally while building lifelong friendships and a strong sense of community.
Outside the gym, Danijel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Health and Coaching Education, is a Red Seal Plumber and Gas B Fitter, and has completed various NCCP coaching courses. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, camping, playing basketball, video games, and discovering great food.
