Our Muay Thai Classes
Often referred to as “The Art of Eight Limbs,” Muay Thai is a dynamic and effective striking style that utilizes punches, elbows, knees, and kicks. It’s a full-body workout that will build your strength, endurance, and coordination, all while giving you the confidence that comes with knowing how to defend yourself.

Ken Tran
With 20+ years of Muay Thai and Kickboxing experience, Ken Tran is a seasoned fighter who has competed globally. A veteran of Glory Kickboxing and Lion Fight Promotions, Ken has a knockout victory at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok. As team captain, he represented Canada in Team Canada vs Team China events. At Titan Training Centre, Ken shares his expertise with enthusiasts and fighters alike, ensuring a positive training experience for all. In his personal life, Ken is a devoted father of two boys and enjoys family time, fishing and most of all… eating.
Ash Mashreghi
With 20 years in the martial arts arena, Ash is a seasoned fighter and instructor with a passion for teaching. For 15 years, he has honed his skills in fighting and coaching, even representing Team Canada as a coach at the 2016 World Muay Thai Tournament in Sweden. As a former Battlefield Fight League World Welterweight Champion and the #4 ranked welterweight in BC, his prowess is undeniable. Ash holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and specializes in Muay Thai, MMA, Boxing, and Wrestling. Beyond combat sports, he’s also a dedicated personal trainer for strength and conditioning, ensuring his students are not only skilled fighters but also peak athletes.
Carol
Carol brings 7 years of Muay Thai and Dutch Style Kickboxing prowess, seasoned through local competitions. Her teaching, rooted in her education in Teaching Assistance and Community Support, shines in the Titan’s Tiny and Junior’s Program, where she nurtures kickboxing fundamentals and confidence. Carol’s off-duty hours are spent with family, running, and hiking.
Tara Rae
Tara’s martial arts journey spans 7 years in kickboxing and jiu-jitsu, with a purple belt under Nabil Salameh. Her undefeated fight record stands at 3-0 across kickboxing and MMA. Her joy matches Tara’s passion for martial arts in helping others grow in their journey. When not at the gym, she enjoys family time, hiking, walking her dog, and savouring good food and sunshine.

Do I need experience to start Muay Thai classes?
No way! Our Muay Thai classes cater to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced fighters. We’ll get you started with the fundamentals and gradually progress you as you improve.
What kind of equipment do I need for my Muay Thai class?
We recommend comfortable workout clothes, shin guards, and boxing gloves. We sell the equipment at the gym but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. For your first session we will supply you with boxing gloves to use for the day.
Are Muay Thai classes a good fit for me?
If you’re looking for a challenging and rewarding workout, Muay Thai is an excellent choice! It’s a great way to get in shape, learn self-defence, and have a blast while doing it.
How Many calories are burned in a Muay Thai class?
Muay Thai classes can be serious calorie burners! Depending on your gender, body mass and intensity of the class, you can expect to burn anywhere from 600 to almost 1000 calories in an hour.
How long are Muay Thai classes?
At Titan Training Centre, our Muay Thai classes are 1 hour long for regular classes and sometimes longer for the advanced classes.
